Seminar on the Promotion and Presentation of New Music A Seminar on the Promotion and Presentation of New Music is the first all-day event in the Contemporary Music Centre's very successful monthly talks programme. Taking place on Monday, 24 February 2003, the morning session will look at how new music is presented in Ireland and the many different factors that impact on its performance, including promoters, audiences, performers, venues, programme, conductors, the media and education. Guest speakers include Nicola LeFanu, composer; Niall Doyle, Director, RTE Music; Celso Antunes, Director/Conductor, National Chamber Choir and Deirdre McCrea, Acting Director, Music Network with Eve O'Kelly, the Director of CMC, as chairperson.
