The Contemporary Music Centre is very pleased to welcome Mary McAuliffe to the Board of Directors. Currently County Sligo Arts Officer, she was previously well known for a number of ground-breaking initiatives as Waterford Corporation's first Arts Officer. In Sligo she has initiated and overseen the arts development and action research programme, Placing Art, of which the highlight is the innovative Vogler Quartet in Sligo residency programme for 1999-2004. Most recently she has developed Sligo's first County Arts Plan for 2002-2005 entitled The Brightening Air.
CMC is also pleased to announce the appointment of Sinéad O’Sullivan as Office Administrator. Previously Senior Administrator (Repertoire) at the Irish Music Rights Organisation, Sinéad is a music graduate of University College Cork.
