The topic for the next plenary meeting of the Forum for Music in Ireland is 'Lobbying for Music', with key speakers Des Geraghty of SIPTU and Martin Macken of Q4 PR. The meeting takes place on Monday, 24 November 2003 at Griffith College, Dublin, hosted by the Leinster School of Music.

In addition to open discussions, case studies on lobbying in the arts will be presented by Deirdre McCrea, CEO of Music Network, Tania Banotti, CEO of Theatre Forum and Joanna Crooks, General Manager, National Youth Orchestra of Ireland. The Forum's new web site will also be launched on the day by Olive Braiden, Chairperson of the Arts Council.
