Feis Ceoil Winners

The winner of the Contemporary Irish Music Cup at Dublin's recent Feis Ceoil is harpist Clare Mc Cague. Performing Lament for a Legendary Queen by Brian Boydell and Harping Cool by Denise Kelly, Clare received the Contemporary Music Centre's monetary award of Euro symbol300. Runner-up for the second prize of Euro symbol150 from CMC was Alison Murphy with her performance of Three Pieces for Solo Flute Nos 1 and 2 by John Buckley.

Congratulation to all the entrants to the competition, who presented accomplished performances of an impressive selection of works by living Irish composers.
