The University of Limerick in association with Lyric FM is giving audiences an opportunity to hear the work of emerging composers of electro-acoustic music in a concert setting. Since Christmas, Lyric FM and the University of Limerick have invited composers of electronic music to submit their works for selection for this unique showcase and there has been a big response from Ireland and abroad. From the submissions, the judges have selected a number of entries for live performance at the Diffusion concert which takes place in the University of Limerick on Saturday 5 April. A first prize of 500, a second prize of 300 and a third prize of 200 will be awarded at the event and admission is free.
