David Fennessy David Fennessy

Composer John Wolf Brennan has been appointed lecturer and visiting professor at the ‘HGK’ (Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst, Luzern/Lucerne School of Arts and Design, Fine Arts Department) in Switzerland. During his first year he will teach on the NDS Cultural Manager and Advanced Studies (MAS) courses. His new CD, Phoenix, recorded with the group Pago Libre, has recently been released on Leo Records.

David Fennessy has recently taken up a position as composition tutor at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. A new one-hour work, room, commissioned by the Scottish Arts Council, will be premiered by the Hebrides Ensemble at the Tollbooth, Stirling, Scotland on 7 November.
