21st Irish Composition Summer School

The closing date for this year's Irish Composition Summer School has been extended to Wednesday 4 June and some places are still available. The course, which is supported by the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and the Arts Council, takes place at the Irish World Music Centre and Centre for Informatics and Electronics of the University of Limerick from 14 - 25 July 2003.

Course directors Nicola LeFanu, Martin O'Leary and Ian Brabazon will give tuition in composition for clarinet, cello and soprano and electro-acoustic forces at intermediate and advanced levels. Students will also work with composers Kevin O'Connell, Jennifer Walshe, Ian Wilson and Simon Mawhinney, and performers Paul Roe, Annette Cleary and Natasha Lohan. On-campus accommodation is available.
