Two Irish works, Gerard Power's Cyclopsleep for orchestra and Raymond Deane's Pentacle for violin and cello, have been selected for performance in the 2002 ISCM World Music Days in Hong Kong from 11-19 October. Ireland has done well to have two pieces programmed since many countries are represented by only a single performance.
