Forum for Music in Ireland

The next plenary meeting of the Forum for Music in Ireland takes place at the RDS, Dublin, on Friday 8 November, hosted by the RDS Music Committee. The theme of the day is 'Music in the Community', with special guest speakers who are actively involved in this area. There will also be a session to discuss the new Arts Plan, at which Dermot McLaughlin of the Arts Council will speak.

The Spring 2003 Plenary Meeting will be held in Waterford in April, hosted by the Waterford Institute of Technology Music School. Dates and details are yet to be confirmed.

The Forum for Music in Ireland is an independent voluntary umbrella body whose aim is to be 'A Voice for Music'. Membership details from the Administrator, Aisling White, Email forum@cmc.ie or 086-321 9644.
