The Contemporary Music Centre has negotiated reduced rates at the Mespil Hotel, a modern three star hotel located within Georgian Dublin, an elegant part of Dublin city centre and near the conference venue. It is easily accessible from Dublin Airport and well connected to public transport. All rooms are stylish and confortable with free WiFi internet access, tea/coffee facilities, etc. The Mespil Hotel was awarded the Mark of Service Excellence in 2009 by Fáilte Ireland, the Irish Tourist Authority.

Delegates should plan to arrive in Dublin at latest on the afternoon of Wednesday, 9 June in time for the first event, an informal welcome barbecue from 6.00 pm. If you are involved in any working groups or committees you will need to arrive on Wednesday morning, or perhaps the night before.

The conference runs all day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-12 June, so please plan your departure no earlier than Sunday 13 June. Because it is a shorter conference than usual this year, some committees and working groups may need to meet on Sunday morning. Please check with your committee chair before finalising your travel plans.

For those who would like to extend their stay for some sightseeing before or after the conference, we have negotiated reduced rates for city tours and one-day excursions with Irish Sightseeing Tours.
