Having a composer visit your school to give a talk or a series of workshops is the best way to bring new music to life for your students.
If you would like to arrange a visit to your school, we can put you in touch with composers who are experienced in education work and assist in making the arrangements with them. You may find you have a 'local composer' living and working in your area, with whom ongoing links can be made.
To arrange for an Irish composer to visit your school, please fill in the form below and email it to us. We will do the initial 'matchmaking' but you must finalise all the arrangements, including fee and travel expenses, directly with the composer. Four to six weeks' notice is required to set up a school visit.
