Simon O’Connor has studied composition under Donnacha Dennehy, Roger Doyle and Kevin Volans. He is also an award-winning graphic designer.

American-born composer and cellist Adele O’Dwyer was trained in the USA where she studied with Leonard Chausow, Zara Nelsova, Antony Cooke, Raya Garbousova and Martha Gerschefski.

Dublin composer Dr Anne-Marie O’Farrell has a substantial output of works for orchestra, mixed choir, solo vocal, chamber and instruments to her name.

Sarah O’Halloran is an artist in residence at George Washington University in Washington D.C. She is also a doctoral candidate in Composition and Computer Technology at the University of Virginia.

Barry O’Halpin is a composer and performer based in Dublin, merging approaches and formative influences from contemporary classical, experimental rock, electronic music and jazz contexts.

Eoin O’Keeffe grew up in Clonmel, Ireland. As a member of his local youth band, he played clarinet and later trumpet, before spending some time as conductor and arranger.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Jane O’Leary has been resident in Ireland since 1972.

Born in Dublin, Martin O’Leary began composing at the age of fourteen.

Palmer was born in England of Irish parents and came to live in Ireland around 1910. In 1901 he was the youngest Bachelor of Music in Oxford college history and studied with C.

Dorothy Parke was born in County Derry in Northern Ireland in 1904 and died in Portrush, County Antrim, in 1990.

Brent Parker is a New Zealand-born composer and pianist who has lived in Ireland for more than forty years.

An Irish composer is defined as anyone who was born or is permanently resident in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
