Ricardo Climent is a music composer and senior lecturer serving as co-director of NOVARS Research Centre at University of Manchester. Before, he lectured at the Sonic Arts Research Centre, Queen's University, Northern Ireland where he also obtained Masters and PhD degrees in Composition. He has served as Resident Composer at the Kunitachi, Tokyo; Conservatorio de las Rosas, Mexico; TUB-Berlin; LEAlab - Valencia and CARA (Celebrating Arts in Rural Areas) and In-You-we-Trust, Ireland. His musical output includes a wide spectrum of choices, from orchestral music using dynamic and graphical scores, to chamber music for a bunch of microbes, also, education workshops with fruits, vegetables and electronics (duo with Iain McCurdy) and 3D works as 'Ho' for his new Navigation System ‘Through’.
