'In 2005 I decided to try and make an index card system which would contain carefully-notated examples of every pop song quotation I carry around in my head. This project quickly grew completely out of control as it became clear that I could spend the rest of my life notating the quotations in detail without ever finishing. G.L.O.R.I.- is the first piece that came out of the project. The score is notated only using text (see above), and relies heavily on the sonic memory of the performer. The text switches font every time a switch is made to a different song.'
