The Electro Acoustic Exchange, a site-specific installation created by George Higgs for the Project Arts Centre, Dublin was opened on 24 July.

The result of an intensive three-month 'study of musical and economic value', the work is scored for cello, sine waves, sampled voices and 'mixed commodities'. It was played through an eight-speaker, ceiling-hung kinetic sculpture using musical scores made from economic graphs. The five-day-long event opened with a live performance by cellist Kate Ellis.
