James Wilson (1922-2005)

The Contemporary Music Centre regrets the passing of the composer James Wilson, who died in Dublin on 6 August 2005 at the age of 82.
James (Jim) Wilson will be remembered not only for the significance and productivity of his musical output, but for his great contribution to new music in Ireland. |
A memorial concert will be held in the National Concert Hall, Dublin, on Sunday, 16 October 2005 at 8.00 pm. Performers include Jane Manning, Concorde, Anthony Byrne, Virginia Kerr & Colman Pearce, Hugh Tinney, David O'Doherty & Katerina Lemoni, Constantin Zanidache and others.
